Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous!!! I love that you used colors these two aren't usually associated with. It's neat to see Uryuu with out any blue on this clothes, and that dark green dress is stunning on Orihime. The coloring you did on her hair is stunning. Orihime's hair is always so difficult to match with other colors... mostly because orange clashes with so many of them. XD But as long as you choose the shade just right, I think even pink can work for her! :D

And Uryuu simply goes with everything, so no problem there. :P

I decided to use the scene where he proposes to her because it's so iconic and memorable... but unfortunately, red roses are such a staple of romantic settings that it's kind of hard to recognize it just from that. XD

Now, if the traditional gesture to ask someone to dance the cotillon at the Austrian court had been to offer your partner a huge man-eating carnivorous plant instead of red roses, then I'm sure that it would have been much easier to identify Sissi and Franz here!

This is absolutely marvelous! I haven't had an opportunity to properly comment, so I waited. I have looked at this several times since you posted it, and let me tell you, every time I am awed by the rich colors and the clean lines! It's where I want to be as an artist! I adore the fullness of Inoue's hair and the color choices and the folds in the clothes!

Most of all, though, I keep marveling over their expressions and body language! The romance you've portrayed in the simple act of tenderly placing a rose in a loved one's hair, it's truly enchanting. <3 You should be proud!

I was actually a little sad about the fact that you can't really see Ishida's expression clearly here... but, well, I guess composition trumps everything. XD

And by the way, YOU should actually be much prouder. I mean, just think of all the effort it took you to draw such beautiful hands in your latest picture! While I simply hid them by placing them strategically behind the roses... what a lazyass I am. :P

You know there is something poetic about not quite seeing Ishida's expression here--because I feel you can see it but barely. I think its like a physical metaphor for how Ishida shows his feelings for Inoue. He shows us glimpses of his true feelings through his face and how he looks at her, but it's seldom. I get that feeling here. It's actually quite powerful.
