440 Spoilers UP!
HERE YA GO at Bleach Asylum thread

Oh shit, no new Orihime powers but she stood her ground and healed herself apparently! And the boys didn't get to do anything!

Flashback of Ishida? Wanna know what they said and why is Ichigo back at Ganjou's? Is he actually asking questions this time?

Well, those who said it was too soon for an Orihime power-up were right. I'm not too disappointed but daaaamn Kubo, that was an ace tease.

yayayayayaaaaayy!!! finally spoilers, yay!!! it was taking LOOOONG (or was I just too eager? XD)

Now.... lemme get outta the shock. So, Inoue's been stabbed?? and she's alive??? pardooon me? ˋ( ° ▽、° ) even if it's an illusion created by book guy, it's CREEPY ¬¬U
Looks like hottie book guy is NOT good guy after all...

And Ichigo and Chad arrive and she's like "I dunno what happened, I was stabbed and I'm alive." Yeah, kinda strange... But you fought him! GO Orihime!! :33 that panel when she's thinking about what has happened and she appears with the black background is... disturbing, I dunno why, something bad, definitely (besides the stabbing left boob thing)

Ichigo and Chad talking about Ichi's fullbring... I wonder what does Chad tells Ichigo ^^

Oh, and Ichi coming back at Ginjou for more... what does Ginjou tell him so he's so shocked?

So many scaaans make me happy like crazy!
yayyyy chapter action and plot development at least!!!! ( ̄▽ ̄)~*

Will this be the end of the trolling maximum?? xDDD Thanks Kubo senseiii ♥

Hey, he still could be NOT a bad guy--he didn't stab to kill, in this case and maybe in Ishida's case.

Orihime, Orihime, Orihime... well, I'm glad there's no angst and that she stood her ground.

The title "Mute Friendship" is making me think too much already.

Ah, at least I got an Ishida panel (oh poor wounded thing) if not my Ishida arrival. Can't complain. I'm just so glad Orihime didn't need rescuing!!! YAYS.

Issues: Orihime-OMGlovely_masoka on March 9th, 2011 11:37 am (UTC)
I don't think she healed herself, you can see by the sword there was no blood on it. =/ And just how she's acting is strange, like it happened but didn't? I guess Translations would clear it up, and lol at her healing her hair back together if she did.

But wow...defiantly an interesting chapter. More so, Orihime's super fake smile towards Ichigo and Chad. I think by something 'strange' in her resistu might be whatever Tsukishima did, if he didn't actually "stab stab" her.

But she used her powers (shielding I presume). ♥ It was something more then she has been doing lately. I just hope it doesn't set her back in doubting herself.

Reserving comments for when the eager translate the dialogue on the scanned pages. *again laments the days when we'd get 1-2 sentences of spoiler text, they really explained so much more*

I will say that I'll be disappointed if bookman's specialty is illusory. C'mon Kubo, diversify a bit.
balladbirdballadbird on March 9th, 2011 12:41 pm (UTC)
Okay, small text spoiler confirms that bookman's power is NOT illusion, and also confirms that He acts independently from Xcution (though I guess that's no big surprise)

in that case it seems to be another huge tease as far as chapters go, maybe Tsukishima's fullbring will live up to it's heavy name after all.
Dyah_bish_yah on March 9th, 2011 12:14 pm (UTC)
Based on Orihime's facial expressions. It looks like she's lying to Ichigo & Chad about what happened.
_debbiechan_: Orihime DETERMINED_debbiechan_ on March 9th, 2011 12:20 pm (UTC)

Yep, the Orihime fake smile.

Lot of miscommunication all around between the nakama.
pcuppypcuppy on March 9th, 2011 12:56 pm (UTC)
That fake smile Orihime panel is creeping me out... Just what did Bookman do to her?! Either Tsukishima used an illusion or Orihime rejected the heck out of that wound.

Tsukishima use to be an ally of Ginjou's? Wonder what happened.

No but seriously. Both Ginjou and Tsukishima remind me of A LOT of Aizen. I really wouldn't be surprised if they were his sons somehow :P

Ohhh I'm calling it. Shinigami badge is a marker given to shinigami/human offspring :D /endcracktheory
Quirkygrlmshepnj on March 9th, 2011 02:40 pm (UTC)
Has it been established that Ginjou and Tsukishima are on the outs? Maybe they are still on the same team, but Ginjou is "playing" the friendly guy (to Ichigo and Chad) and really isn't. He's had his share of shifty glances. I wondered if maybe the Fulbringers are eliminating any non-Fullbringers who have super-human abilities that might interfere in whatever goal they have involving Ichigo. Or maybe they are testing Ichigo's friends to see which of them are Fullbringers.

A Quincy isn't a Fullbringer and gets his power from a different source (and maybe why he was so badly injured by Tsukishima), and maybe Orihime is a Fullbringer (I think she is; her hairpins) and more easily recovered from Tsukishima's attack.

Eh, just grapsing at straws here. Pay no attention.

Another possibility...

Orihime healed from a life-threatening wound because she has Ulquiorra's heart...and some of his regenerative powers rubbed off on her. ;)

No, it is me who is behind you, Orihime!

T-Then who was--!

_debbiechan_: Aizen ILLUSION_debbiechan_ on March 9th, 2011 01:19 pm (UTC)

I do like this bit about Orihime lying. It's only her doing what was done to her--Ishida and Ichigo and Chad either lied outright or kept information from her to protect her and she's doing the same thing. This isn't what friendship is about. Friendship is about not about protecting your friends by keeping the truth from them.

The nakama need to learn this. This could be the theme of the arc.

And Bookman--an ex-friend of Ganjou's group, hmm. The fall-out had to be over giving up powers to Ichigo.

Oh man -- had a thought.

I really hope Orihime goes to Ryuuken with this information. It'd make sense -- he's the only one who HASN'T lied to her, and he warned her about a possible attack. Plus, it'd be pretty darn strange to have him have this awesome appearance in a chapter and then just be totally irrelevant for the rest of the arc. (Especially when the arc started with some Isshin interest -- maybe we'll hit that soon... maybe... /dreams). Then again, she might not if she did, as the text suggests, have a moment in which she thought of Bookman as a friend.

But I definitely agree re: the theme.

Okay, okay she used her powers he was just exceptionally stronger but, dammit, I wanted some Orihime butt-kicking. -_- Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

How interesting is this possibility that both Orihime and Ishida have been 'marked' by the bad guy? Could this lead to a nakama on nakama battle? Oh I hope so! :D
(Anonymous) on March 9th, 2011 04:40 pm (UTC)
I don't get it, if she have her powers why on earth she didn't heal Ishida?
Could it be that her powers were damaged?
(Anonymous) on March 9th, 2011 06:49 pm (UTC)
Maybe because Ishida was under the care of HotDaddyQuincy, head of the hospital and she didn't want "civilians" to see her powers. Just a guess.

I'm disappointed Ishida didn't show up in this chapter.

So Orihime was pierced with Book Guy's sword but there's no wound, huh? I wonder... waaaaay back in the HM arc, there were hints that Orihime might have changed "inside". Did Aizen, the Arrancar, or just being in HM do something to her? If so, is this the result?

I await more information. (And Ishida's return, of course.)

P.S. The nakama not telling each other what's really going on seems to be a theme for this arc. I can't help imagining Rukia coming back and head-slapping all of them, telling them they're idiots for keeping secrets, and that's not what nakama do.

The though of this happening makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ;)

Innnnteresting! I'm glad we won't be getting the more predictable scenarios as feared (another kidnapping or another rescue). This looks like a very nice setup for some 'Hime character development, which so many of us have been wanting for years. I look forward to it more than I care about the Fullbringers' true intentions (Ginjou and Tsukishima in particular just don't interest me much at the moment).

And it looks like Chad is the only one who isn't lying, as usual.
_debbiechan__debbiechan_ on March 9th, 2011 07:57 pm (UTC)

Well, Chad neglected to tell Orihime where he WAS all those days he was at Xecution headquarters and just came by to pick up her bread so I call that lying by omission and definitely an act of mute friendship, if not as severe as the outright lying that Orihime and Ishida have pulled.

But I'm good with this chapter--no rescue, Orihime used her fairies, and well, a flashback panel of Ishida was better than no Ishida. I'm interested in Bookman though. I like him--can't help myself. XD I like guys who carry books. XD
