Some of you may have heard that the next batch of anime filler is going to be based on Kubo-sensei's manga color spreads. The first one up is the Arabian spread. A summary is already out--it's an Aladdin's Lamp theme, and I was laughing all day at comments about the episode in fandom but I really lost when I read Mezzo's post a while ago and had to share it with you. It's got all the vital information about the episode in the post so here ya go:

Wooo, fanservice reaches a new high! SHIRTLESS CHAD! I have to admit, when I saw the spread this will be based on, that was my first thought: that Chad would be only half-clothed. I hope the animators are up to the task!

Normally I don't think much of the fillers, but I have to admit that the ones based on KT's omakes and scribbles and such tend to be way better than the SP original creations. This one sounds like it will be quite a romp.

Yes, shirtless Chad will definately be full of win.

However. I'd love to see Byakuya in a frilly white dress as well. XD

I wonder if they changed Rukia's name to Lucia just for that episode...

Since the animators seem to have a thing for basing filler eps on Kubo's spreads, can we have an episode based on the V-day chocolate hearts spread? It's something to consider. :p
