I think I'm custom-d out. I've pretty much been spending every hour not devoted to work, eating, or sleeping on these dolls ^^;
But they're done!
Nel was a nice break from the ridiculously complex outfits all the boys have. However her mask and wig possibly took the most work of the bunch--her mask is actually a really big barrette, for easy and secure on-off application. I custom-tinted her hair with RIT dye and turned my hands green...ahahhaa. She also has a 'super busty' high end Volks body (they are anatomically correct. I'm not going to explain that). Regular pullips come roughly A-B cups, so that wasn't going to work out, obviously.
The "Elegant Beauty" bodies are really something. There aren't any other 1/6 scale bodies that can match them for looks and realism. The bust part is even made of soft plastic, so it's, uh, squishy.
(no forgetting her number... even if where her hollow hole is is a mystery)
Her set is here for more piccies: http://www.flickr.com/photos/requiemart/sets/72157623531868613/
And let's not forget Ishida, who finally got 'real' clothes. Eventually.
Being so stylish, he tried on some other clothes first.
And then, after much back-seat tailoring, finally got his own clothes.
...complete with cape and chain clasp.
(I really like it a lot better without the cape)
...and even better like this. Which is pretty much why I picked this outfit over the pleated tunic current variation. That, and I quaked in fear at trying to get the tailoring on that one right.
Uh... bonus picture?

Anyhoo, these guys are finally all done, and are at www.animadness.com 's store. They will be going to Anime Boston, and I'll be @ the booth as a 'doll expert' on Friday 4/2, so if you're at the con, make it to the dealer room that day to chat :)
(the dolls on display at the store... Ishida wasn't quite done, I hadn't finished his glove/boots when the picture was taken)
