UnMasked Translations, Soi Fong Seiyuu Passes Away

I was planning to make a master post here on bleachness  of translations from UnMasked but Lumi at BA has done it! HERE: http://athakra.livejournal.com/1009.html

I'll be adding translations to Lumi's post too in the future. I have a few from mezzo_marinaio  I may not have posted to the main UnMasked thread at BA as well as some others I could gather from fanclubs that I will also post here later but at the moment I'm still under the weather. I may yet make my own master post here.

Also, if you haven't heard the sad news yet, the seiyuu for Sui Feng, Kawakami Tomoko has passed away after a struggle with ovarian cancer. She was 40.

Rest in Peace and thank you for the memories.

First off, I'm sorry to hear about Kawakami Tomoko's passing. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family and friends.

Second, thank you for redirecting us to Lumi's master post. I'll be interested to see what more will be added.

That is really sad to hear. :( My condolences.

There was already much demand for a master post at One Manga forum and BA so I decided to make it. I hope your migraine eases up soon.

Oh.
My God.

Kawakami Tomoko voiced Shindou Hikaru, who was my favorite shounen hero of all times. OF ALL TIMES.

Oh god how will I be able to stand watching Hikaru no Go now... ;^;

... RIP Tomoko-san... I loved her work in Bleach and Chrno crusade...

How depressing, R.I.P. Cancer is practically the death of everyone. -___- *Sigh*

And thank you Debbie for the link!

Wait, Soifon went through another seiyuu? What happened to Houko Kuwashima(sp?)?

Regardless, may Ms. Kawakami rest in peace. Poor Soifon can't catch a break with actors. Her original actor went on sick leave way back when, so this means she's going to be cast a fourth time...

I think Kawakami-san was the original seiyuu who went on sick leave. I might be out of the loop but it appears Houko Kuwashima's still voicing Soi Fon now. Seems like it's only been one recasting.
